Regency waistcoat

  A  waistcoat suitable for recreating 1790-1810s persona, a staple of a Regency  dandy!

  Features:

* fronts in striped silk grosgrain, lined with cotton, lapels and facings in silk

 * back in 1 layer cotton twill

* 2 welted pockets

* stand up collar

* single breasted (can be made double breasted if buttons arer moved and another row added!)

* ties at the back to adjust the sizing

 * inside finish by overlocker - the side seams can be easily taken in if smaller size is needed

 * armholes faced with a cotton bias tape

*  a little bit of leftover fabric is included in case the new owner fancies making matching buttons

 Measurements:

 Chest closes ( with loose ties) at 46" ( 117cm), waist at 44" (112cm), front length 22" (56cm)
