13th century surcoat

 A rare occassion to get one of the items made for the Equestrian Dressmaker book!

 This surcoat is based on the images from Codex Manesse, late 13th, early 14th century.

 was used once for a photoshoot on horseback, so the price is reduced to show that!

Features:

* made in lovely pinkish wool, medium weight (a colour seen a lot on the codex!), with a lovely drape

* extra voluminous to allow for horseriding - bur also suitable for any other purpose.

* slight train

* all the edges finished by hand, inside seams couched down with silk and linen thread

the chest is up to 36"  ( i have squeezed my 39 inches there, but barely...)
