 A Restoration era ( 1660-80s) set suitable for horseriding displays, shows, concurs d'elegance etc.

 

  Features:

 * a skirt in sturdy fabric with a period correct damask pattern. I am not sure what fibre composition it is, probably cotton blend. Whereas not exactly 100% authentic, it will serve for a long time!

The skirt is not trained, so easy to walk in it too!

The skirt closes at the back with ties, hem decorated with antique metallic fringe - it serves decorative purpose as well as a more pragmatic one, weighting the skirts down.

* a coat in blue wool, lined with silk, decorated with silver lace. Closing with metal buttons. functional pockets. decorative velvet ribbon clusters at the shoulders

* a silk sash with fringing

 The hat, chemise and other accessories not included

 

Measurements

 The skirt closes at waist 32" (81cm), the jacket closes at chest 42" (106cm)

 The  habit would work best on a rider uk size 12-16, with stays/ corset. Here worn  on size 12, a bit too big but the sash helps!
